In this video, Technology Gyan reviews the newly launched Tecno Pova 7 series, which includes the Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro. Both smartphones are positioned as strong value-for-money devices under ₹15,000, bringing premium features to the budget segment.
The Tecno Pova 7 features a tall, slim design with a glossy finish and a stylish camera module that integrates a multi-functional RGB light. It comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPS IPS display supporting a smooth 144Hz refresh rate—a rare feature at this price point. The Pova 7 Pro offers an upgraded 1.5K resolution display for sharper visuals.
Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate (4nm) processor, delivering strong performance and smooth 60fps gaming. Benchmarks cross 670,000 points, proving the phones’ ability in multitasking and high-end games. They use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage for fast performance.
The devices pack a massive 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and Tecno includes the charger in the box. On the camera side, the Pova 7 has a 50MP dual camera with AI enhancements and a 13MP selfie camera, while the Pro version upgrades to a 64MP Sony sensor with ultra-wide support. Both support 4K 30fps video recording from front and back.
Running on HiOS 15.1 (Android 15), the Pova 7 series comes with guaranteed Android 16 and two years of security updates. Connectivity features include 10 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, stereo speakers, IR blaster, and IP64 water resistance.
